Scope
These terms apply to the services of Digital Cognition LLC. Each project is defined by a written proposal that states the scope, the price and the delivery date. If the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal prevails.
Payments
Projects are paid 50% on approval of the proposal and 50% on delivery. Monthly plans are billed in advance. Clients in the United States pay by bank transfer; clients in other countries pay by card through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars unless the proposal states otherwise.
Changes
Work outside the agreed scope is quoted before it is done and requires your written approval.
Ownership
Once the project is paid in full, you own the code, designs and content created for you. We may reuse general know-how and open-source components that are not specific to your business.
Confidentiality
We keep your information and data confidential and use it only to deliver your project.
Warranty
For 30 days after delivery we fix, at no cost, anything that does not work as described in the proposal.
Cancellation
If you cancel before work starts, the deposit is refunded in full. After work starts, the deposit covers the work done. Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the project or service involved.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
